We are excited to introduce our 2019 EITI Mentorship Initiative! Mentorship is critical to academic and career success, especially while seeking to navigate race and gender in academia (Gaëtane & Brooks, 2011). We can personally attest to how impactful the opportunity to glean and benefit from mentoring relationships has been along our journeys and we want to continue our mission to champion Women of Color engaged in higher education by providing an opportunity to partner with and be mentored by other like-minded WOC
